These photographs are a sample selection of 500 portraits I took of residents of Bedford, England. The subjects had been approached at random in various locations in the town over a twelve month period in 2007 and 2008. The photographs were displayed in the BCA Gallery in Bedford during July and August 2008 under the title: 'A Portrait of Bedford'. The exhibition was a huge success, with over 5,500 visits during the two month run.
